A community growing in grace, rooted in the Word, and looking toward the future.
We are a diverse family of believers united by our love for Jesus Christ. At Mothutlung SDA Church, we believe that the church is not a building, but a people called to share hope with a world that needs it most.
As Seventh-day Adventists, our name reflects our two core joys: the peace of the Seventh-day Sabbath and the eager anticipation of the Second Advent of our Savior.
The Holy Scriptures are the ultimate rule of faith and practice. We believe the Bible is God's letter to humanity, revealing His character and His plan for our lives.
In a busy world, God gave us a weekly "pause button." From sunset Friday to sunset Saturday, we celebrate the Sabbath—a time to set aside work and worry to focus on our Creator and each other.
We find great comfort in knowing that death is a peaceful, unconscious sleep. Our loved ones rest without suffering as they await the morning of the resurrection when Jesus returns.
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures.
The Holy Scriptures, Old and New Testaments, are the written Word of God, given by divine inspiration through holy men of God who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
2 Peter 1:20, 21; 2 Tim. 3:16, 17; Ps. 119:105There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons. God is immortal, all-powerful, all-knowing, above all, and ever present.
Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14God the eternal Father is the Creator, Source, Sustainer, and Sovereign of all creation. He is just and holy, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.
Gen. 1:1; Rev. 4:11; John 3:16God the eternal Son became incarnate in Jesus Christ. Through Him all things were created, the character of God is revealed, the salvation of humanity is accomplished, and the world is judged.
John 1:1-3, 14; Col. 1:15-19; John 10:30; 14:9God the eternal Spirit was active with the Father and the Son in Creation, Incarnation, and Redemption. He extends spiritual gifts to the church and empowers it to bear witness to Christ.

John 3:16; Isa. 53; 1 Cor. 15:3, 4, 20-22In infinite love and mercy God made Christ, who knew no sin, to be sin for us, so that in Him we might be made the righteousness of God. Led by the Holy Spirit we sense our need and acknowledge our sinfulness.
2 Cor. 5:17-21; John 3:16; Gal. 1:4; 4:4-7By His death on the cross Jesus triumphed over the forces of evil. As we give ourselves to Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we are delivered from the darkness of our past and live in the light of His love.
Ps. 1:1, 2; 23:4; Col. 1:13, 14; 2:6, 14, 15The church is the community of believers who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. In continuity with the people of God in Old Testament times, we are called out from the world.

Rom. 12:4-8; 1 Cor. 12:9-11, 27, 28; Eph. 4:8, 11-16Scripture testifies that one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is prophecy. This gift is an identifying mark of the remnant church and was manifested in the ministry of Ellen G. White.
